What exactly is someone going to do with Camtasia in 30 days that they can't do with a free video editor? There's a lot of them available. I'm pretty sure that equates to a sale of Camtasia to that customer. Because that's exactly what I would want to happen. Or gain some benefits through the free trial is kind of ridiculous to me. I might assume that you make videos for others. Instead, it would just happen at the very end after rendering were complete and GOTCHA! Unexpected watermark time! My thoughts are that if they were, that screen wouldn't be seen. But the screen capture you shared earlier clearly shows that they aren't really trying to hide it. Sure, it's not advertised on the Camtasia pages. So I'd really love to know how anyone is hindered in the slightest by having the watermark present.

So why aren't they loud and proud about the fact there's a watermark?
